Eli, You Make Me Better
Baby Eli, my proof that angels are among us. The transformation I’ve gone through mentally, emotionally, and spiritually is all because of him.
My son has taught me how to be fearless & to be a strong advocate. He’s opened our eyes to the world of Down syndrome, the stigmas & the myths, and the beautiful journey. If I could tell a new mom-to-be of a baby with Down syndrome one thing, it is to fear not. There is a huge community behind you. Our babies bring us so much joy. Every milestone is even more precious because they work twice if not three times as hard.
