Zoey, You Make Me Better
Zoey and Edward are our twins, conceived through IVF. At twelve weeks, an NIPT test revealed markers indicating that Zoey might have Down syndrome. We were overwhelmed and heartbroken at first, but we knew without question that these babies were meant to be ours, and that they would be perfect just as they are.
They were born in January 2025, and in the months that followed, Zoey bravely faced numerous medical tests and procedures, including heart surgery. Through it all, she showed incredible strength. Her strength made me stronger, too. Because of her, I have grown in ways I never imagined, and everyone who meets her feels her love. Her smile lights up every room she enters.
We are endlessly grateful for our babies and for the beautiful differences that make them who they are, every single day.
