Down Syndrome Awareness Month
Changing the narrative starts with one story.
Down Syndrome Awareness Month is an opportunity to celebrate people with Down syndrome, share their stories, and help shape a more hopeful and accurate understanding of what life with Down syndrome can look like.
At Jack’s Basket, we believe that every life is created with a purpose and that each person has the ability to make another’s life better. That is not dependent on ability, diagnosis, or the number of chromosomes someone has.
This October, we're inviting you to help change the narrative by celebrating someone with Down syndrome who makes your life better.
Because when stories are shared, more people have the opportunity to see Down syndrome differently. So, we want to hear from you!
Tell us: How does someone with Down syndrome make you better?
Share your story.
Tell your community how someone with Down syndrome makes you better. Use our ready-to-share graphics, copy/paste language, photo frames, and other tools to help tell your story on social media. Don’t forget to tag @jacksbasket and use #youmakemebetter.
Submit your story.
Share your You Make Me Better story directly with Jack’s Basket for the opportunity to be featured on our website, social media, and other communications.
Amplify the stories.
