Jogging for Jack 2016

It’s that time again…for you to join our JOGGING for JACK team and CELEBRATE the positive impact Jack has had on our lives, the amazing free programs offered by GiGi’s Playhouse, the ways Jack’s Basket has impacted new families, and honor people with Down syndrome by participating in Cody’s Dash which includes a 5K, 1 mile, and Kids Dash on June 11th!  It’s a fun morning in the park with tons of fun including food trucks, family activities, live music, and more!  It’s always such a wonderful time for our family and it means so much to have people come out and support us in this way!  THANK YOU!!!

*A fun incentive this year is that the top 3 fundraisers receives a tent to set up for their team!  Let’s make that happen for our team and look for our sign!!!! (Thanks Katie B for the awesome Jack’s Basket sign! 🙂

Also, we have another logo option for Jack’s team this year and if you are interested in buying one you can email joggingforjack@gmail.com and let me know the size you would like.  Women’s, men’s, and kid’s sizes are available.  They are are $15, tri-blend track shirts, and the description says that they are pre-shrunk.  You can find more info about the shirt at the following links.  Men’s Shirt description.  Women’s shirt description. The deadline for the shirts is Wednesday, May 18th!  You certainly do not need a shirt to join us!  

Last year we had members of Jack’s team that couldn’t join us in MN but they celebrated Jack wherever they were!  Check out some of Jack’s family in Tennessee!  These shirts were purchased by Jack’s late Great Uncle Charlie (Nana’s brother).  He had called me a few weeks before he passed away and shared how Jack’s life had impacted him through reading the blog and he wanted his family to have a Jack shirt, and let me tell you it’s a BIG family and we love each and everyone of them!  My eyes fill with tears thinking about my family wearing these shirts in honor of Uncle Charlie and Jack!  Thank you for all that came out and supported us near and far!
