Jack’s Basket Celebrates Grand Opening of Expanded Space
Nearly 600 supporters, volunteers, partners, and community members gathered on Sunday, May 31, to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of Hands on Hope, Jack’s Basket’s new 2,500-square-foot headquarters expansion.
The day was filled with purpose, connection, and celebration as attendees toured the facility, participated in volunteer activities, and commemorated the occasion with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
A highlight of the event was the assembly of 150 Jack’s Baskets for families receiving a Down syndrome diagnosis. Volunteers of all ages worked side-by-side, demonstrating the spirit of service and hope that drives Jack’s Basket’s mission.
Guests toured the facility and learned how the new space will expand volunteer opportunities through basket-packing events and service projects. Designed to host groups, the space will enable more people to participate directly in the mission and help ensure that even more families receive a Jack’s Basket when they receive a Down syndrome diagnosis.
The grand opening served as both a celebration of how far Jack’s Basket has come and a glimpse into the future of what is possible when a community comes together around a shared purpose.
Jack’s Basket extends its sincere gratitude to the volunteers, donors, sponsors, partners, and guests who helped make the day a tremendous success.
